What Awaits You At Mynaric

• Define and drive the technical vision for future innovation projects and translate it into clear roadmaps
• Identify, shape and acquire new advanced development projects, including funded and customer-driven programs
• Develop and defend technical proposals toward customers, partners, funding bodies and internal decision makers
• Design system architectures and make well-founded technical trade-offs across the full system
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies and assess what they mean for our portfolio
• Analyze technical challenges early and guide the team toward robust solutions
• Lead and grow a team of engineers with technical credibility, and create an environment where curiosity and engineering enthusiasm thrive
• Collaborate closely with engineering, program management, sales and executive leadership to turn ideas into delivered results
  
  

What You Bring With You

• Degree in engineering, physics or a related technical field (advanced degree is a plus)
• Many years of experience in advanced development, system engineering or technical program leadership, ideally in a high-technology environment
• Strong system design skills and a deep understanding of technical architecture, from concept to implementation
• Proven experience in writing and successfully defending technical proposals
• Technical leadership that goes beyond people management: you can discuss designs with engineers at eye level and earn their trust through expertise
• Experience in leading and inspiring technical teams, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
• A clear view of where the industry is heading and the curiosity to keep learning
• A trustworthy and reliable personality with integrity, sound judgment and the ability to represent the company at the highest level
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
