As a Host/Hostess, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Welcome & delight our guests: Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression and memorable experience
  • Coordinate the guest flow: Work closely with the service team to manage available tables and stations and ensure a smooth guest flow, especially during peak times
  • Manage reservations: Review and manage reservations, including SevenRooms and BEOs, maintain accurate guest information, and coordinate changes or walk-ins with Front Office
  • Prepare for the day: Review daily guest and reservation lists, prepare relevant guest information, and ensure important notes are communicated to the service team
  • Drive upselling opportunities: Proactively promote menus, drinks, specials, and the Mountain Hub Gourmet to enhance the guest experience
  • Support the service team: Assist with serving and clearing during busy periods and communicate relevant guest information to the team and management
  • Maintain a welcoming environment: Handle guest requests and complaints professionally while ensuring the welcome desk and reception area are always clean, organized, and well prepared
