A large automotive business is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team focused on next-generation mobility and intelligent assistants. The role involves building, prototyping, and delivering use cases that leverage edge device models to create meaningful product experiences. You will work within an expert team to translate model capabilities into functional features for a global customer base.

What you'll be doing

• Integrate machine learning models that run on edge devices within the infotainment domain

• Prototype and build generative AI experiences, turning concepts into refined customer features

• Collaborate with engineering teams to manage latency, memory, and performance budgets

• Develop evaluation tools for real-world interaction quality, robustness, and failure modes

• Partner with UX teams to refine design, fallback flows, and safe error handling

What we're looking for

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Extensive experience in application engineering with a track record of delivering for a large customer base

• Strong technical background integrating generative AI and machine learning models

• Proficiency in Python and Java or Kotlin

• Experience debugging ambiguous AI failures and working with constrained edge-device models
