The Area Manager - Germany (Respiratory Care) will be responsible for driving commercial performance within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets, strengthening customer relationships, and maximising overall profitability.
This position is particularly suited to individuals with experience in intensive care environments and a demonstrable track record in medical device sales.
- Develop and implement comprehensive territory sales strategies, incorporating short- and long-term objectives, market analysis, and business development initiatives
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progression of opportunities throughout the sales cycle
- Deliver professional product presentations and clinical demonstrations to prospective customers
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence to senior management
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions within CRM systems
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales support, to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Demonstrated experience in selling complex medical solutions to distributors and/or end users
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong results orientation, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity, with regular customer engagement (3 to 4 days per week)
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and manage competing priorities effectively
- Proficiency in CRM systems, such as Salesforce
