You will combine strategic leadership with operational excellence to ensure Genmab is positioned as a trusted partner within the German healthcare ecosystem.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the oncology landscape, proven leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly regulated environment.

  • Oversee the development and execution of local marketing strategies in close collaboration with regional and global teams.

  • Lead and develop the Gyn-Oncology marketing team.

  • Ensure strong brand positioning, differentiation, and customer-centric engagement strategies.

  • Champion omnichannel approaches that enhance customer experience and engagement.

  • Partner closely with Medical and Regulatory colleagues to ensure compliant and impactful communications.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate effectively with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and other key functions.

  • Ensure strong alignment between commercial objectives and operational execution.

  • Act as a key member of the German leadership team, contributing to the overall business strategy and organizational success.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, healthcare institutions, and strategic partners.

  • Strengthen partnerships that support patient access and long-term business success.

  • Represent Genmab externally with professionalism, credibility, and integrity.

  • Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, industry codes, and internal policies.

  • Promote a culture of ethical leadership, accountability, and transparency across the organization.

  • Maintain the highest standards of governance in all customer-facing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.

  • MBA, PhD, or other advanced degree preferred.

  • 10–15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech commercial leadership roles.

  • Significant experience leading both Sales and Marketing organizations.

  • Strong track record of successful product launches and delivering sustainable business growth.

  • Experience within oncology and/or specialty care environments strongly preferred.

  • Experience working across both established pharmaceutical organizations and agile biotech environments is highly valued.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial and business acumen.

  • Inspirational people leader with demonstrated experience building high-performing teams.
