Your Role

As part of Resyca’s continued growth, the company is bringing its finance function in‑house. The Finance Manager is high impact, senior role reporting to the CEO. The role will lead Resyca’s in house finance function, while also acting as a trusted strategic finance partner to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. The role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands‑on financial execution with leadership‑level accountability in a growing, innovation‑driven organisation.

You will take ownership of Resyca’s financial management and reporting and operate as the lead finance professional within the business,  working closely with the CEO and external stakeholders. 

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function, including accounting, reporting, and controls
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning
• Support board reporting with clear, actionable financial insights
• Oversee year-end accounts and audit processes
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial governance
• Liaise with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors
• Support contractual and commercial decisions with financial input
• Drive the transition from outsourced to in-house finance operations
• Contribute to process improvements and finance system optimisation

Your Profile

Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent).
• Strong hands‑on experience in bookkeeping and management accounting.
• Experience working within a small, growing, or entrepreneurial business environment.
• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis capability.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function.
• High attention to detail combined with strong commercial awareness
• Language – Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience transitioning accounting from outsourced to in‑house.
• Background in life sciences, biotech, medical devices, or R&D‑driven organisations.
• Experience with project‑based and milestone‑driven accounting.
• Familiar with Dutch accounting law and IFRS.

Role Structure and Working Pattern:

• Part‑time role: approximately 50%
• Flexible working hours
• Opportunity to increase hours over time as Resyca grows and finance needs expand.
• In office position based out of Resyca office in Munich, although some flexibility around hybrid or remote working is potentially possible.
