System Architect / Product Definition Engineer – Isolated Power Products

Location: Munich, Germany / Bengaluru, India

L&T Semiconductor is expanding its portfolio of high-voltage isolated products for Industrial, Energy, Automotive, and AI Data Center applications.

We are seeking an experienced System Architect / Product Definition Engineer to lead product definition for Isolated Gate Drivers and Isolated Power Supplies.

This role is responsible for converting customer requirements into technically differentiated and commercially successful products.

What You Will Do

• Define next-generation isolated gate drivers and isolated power supply products.
• Develop product specifications, target datasheets, functional architectures, and feature roadmaps.
• Perform system-level feasibility studies, isolation architecture analysis, and performance modeling.
• Evaluate switching performance, protection features, EMI, thermal behavior, and system integration requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, Product Management, R&D, Applications, Packaging, and Operations teams.
• Support technical customer engagements, product proposals, and roadmap planning.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, semiconductor product definition, system architecture, or applications engineering.
• Strong understanding of:
• Isolated Gate Drivers
• Isolated Power Supplies
• Isolation Technologies (Capacitive, Magnetic, Transformer-Based)
• SiC and IGBT Gate Drive Systems
• Functional Safety and High-Voltage Isolation Requirements
• Experience with SIMPLIS, SPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent simulation tools.
• Knowledge of industrial, energy, automotive, or data-center power systems.
• Ability to create system-level performance, thermal, and feasibility models.
