System Architect / Product Definition Engineer – Data Center Power (IBC & PoL)

Location: Munich, Germany / Bengaluru, India

L&T Semiconductor is building next-generation power solutions for AI Data Centers, Cloud Infrastructure, and High-Performance Computing.

We are looking for a highly motivated System Architect / Product Definition Engineer to define future Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC), Point-of-Load (PoL) converters, Power Stages, and Power Delivery architectures.

This role sits at the intersection of customer engagement, system architecture, product strategy, and technology innovation.

What You Will Do

• Define next-generation IBC, PoL, and power-stage products for AI and cloud data centers.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications, datasheets, and system architectures.
• Perform topology evaluations, efficiency analysis, thermal modeling, and system trade-off studies.
• Develop SIMPLIS/SPICE-based models to validate product feasibility before development.
• Work closely with Product Management, R&D, Applications, Sales, and key customers.
• Support customer engagements, technical proposals, and product roadmaps.
• Drive innovation in high-density 48V power delivery architectures.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, system architecture, applications engineering, or semiconductor product definition.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC)
• Point-of-Load Converters (PoL)
• Multiphase Buck Converters
• LLC and Isolated DC-DC Topologies
• GaN, SiC, and MOSFET Power Devices
• Experience with SIMPLIS, SPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to perform system-level efficiency, thermal, and power-loss analysis.
• Strong customer-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
