Hiring: D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Architect

Munich - Germany | Full-Time

Are you an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Functional Architect with deep expertise across Finance and Supply Chain Management.

We are looking for a senior professional to lead enterprise-scale D365 F&O transformations, define solution architecture, and drive best-practice implementations across global business functions.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

10+ years of ERP Functional Consulting experience

5+ years leading D365 F&O solution architecture across:

• Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax, Cash & Bank, Budgeting)
• Supply Chain (Procurement, Sales, Inventory, WMS, Master Planning)

Strong knowledge of German Accounting Principles and D365 Finance localization for Germany

Experience with local German financial systems such as DATEV (highly preferred)

Led at least 2 end-to-end D365 F&O implementations (multi-entity / multi-country preferred)

Deep understanding of:

• Record-to-Report (R2R)
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Tax, Compliance & Audit Processes

Hands-on experience with:

• LCS
• Azure DevOps
• RSAT
• Data Entities & Data Migration
• Power BI Reporting Governance

Strong stakeholder management and design governance experience

Technical understanding of integrations:

• APIs
• OData
• Power Platform
• Azure Services

Preferred

• Microsoft D365 Finance and/or SCM Certifications
• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, or Distribution
• Power Platform & Azure Integration expertise
• German language skills

What You'll Do

Own the end-to-end D365 F&O functional architecture

Drive solution blueprinting, governance, and best practices

Lead business workshops and solution design

Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and upgrade-ready architecture

Guide cross-functional teams including Functional, Technical, Data, Integration, and Testing teams
