Technical Audio Visual Account Manager

PropRec are excited to add this Global Manufacturer to our portfolio of growing Audio Visual manufacturers and are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to support customers across Southern Germany.


Are you an experienced Audio Visual (AV) professional with a strong background in system design, integration, and customer support?

Do you enjoy working directly with customers, delivering technical training, and helping drive the adoption of innovative AV technologies?


This is a senior-level technical position within the Sales team, offering the opportunity to work closely with end users, consultants, dealers, and technical decision-makers while promoting industry-leading AV solutions.


Based from your home office, you will act as the primary technical liaison between the manufacturer and customers throughout your territory. Regular travel within Southern Germany is an essential part of the role.


Key Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in Audio Visual integration, system design, or related technical AV environments
  • Strong technical expertise across AV technologies and solutions
  • Degree from a Fachhochschule or University in a relevant discipline such as:
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Media Technology (Medientechnik)
  • Broadcast Technology (Fernsehtechnik)
  • Information Electronics
  • Or a related technical field
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently from a home office while managing a regional territory

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical managers, consultants, integrators, and end users throughout the region
  • Present and promote new products, highlighting their technical advantages and integration capabilities
  • Gather customer feedback and discuss product enhancement opportunities
  • Support Product Marketing with technical research and market feedback on specific product groups
  • Proactively engage customers regarding completed projects and future opportunities
  • Provide technical support for consultants and dealers during project planning, tenders, and system design
  • Deliver on-site troubleshooting and technical assistance for active projects
  • Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers within your territory

Additional Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training sessions and product demonstrations
  • Support dealer events, trade shows, customer seminars, and training
  • Assist with advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution when required
  • Review and support translations of technical documentation where applicable
  • Stay current with product developments, emerging technologies, and industry trends
