We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Assistant / Market Research Analyst to support research initiatives that drive business growth, strategic planning, and market intelligence. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data to identify trends, evaluate competitive landscapes, understand consumer behavior, and uncover business opportunities.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to conduct research projects, gather insights from multiple sources, and prepare reports that support data-driven decision-making. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, research expertise, and the ability to transform complex information into meaningful and actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market, industry, competitor, and consumer research using primary and secondary sources.
- Collect, organize, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging business opportunities.
- Analyze customer behavior, preferences, purchasing patterns, and market demand.
- Support market sizing, segmentation, and opportunity assessment studies.
- Perform competitor analysis, benchmarking, and market intelligence research.
- Assist in designing surveys, questionnaires, and research methodologies.
- Interpret survey findings, customer feedback, and research results.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings.
- Maintain research databases, documentation, and market intelligence resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic planning, marketing, and product development initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of research outputs and data sources.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends and insights.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with survey platforms, research databases, or analytics tools is an advantage.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
