Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented intern to help us in our mission by contributing to the development, justification and validation of our Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS). As an ECLSS engineer intern, you will be in charge of improving our methodologies and tools for the justification of the Pressure Control System (PCS) and Air Revitalization System (ARS) as well as perform test activities. You will be part of the Vehicle Design Team.

Key responsibilities
In your capacity as an ECLSS engineer intern, your role will include:
- To contribute to the creation and improvement of the pressurized system models using internal tools,
- To create and run local models of the ARS using CFD commercial tools,
- To analyse and evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the results,
- To support testing activities and validate numerical results against empirical data,
- To effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data,
- To write technical documentation and participate to reviews.
- Bachelor Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science or Mechanical Engineer,
- Strong Thermodynamics background,
- Experience with CFD calculations,
- Experience with programming (Python),
- Fluent in English,
- Ability to work equally well unsupervised or as part of a team,
- Strong organizing and prioritization of tasks capabilities,
- Positive and flexible attitude to get the job done,
- Ability to communicate at all levels,
