We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Engineering Expert (m/f/d) to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a company-wide System Engineering Framework. This strategic role is key to shaping and advancing our engineering capabilities and organizational methodologies.

Your tasks

• Your Mission We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Engineering Expert (m/f/d) to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a company-wide System Engineering Framework. This strategic role is key to shaping and advancing our engineering capabilities and organizational methodologies.
• Your Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive System Engineering Framework including a tailored Life Cycle Model
• Adapt the framework to the specific operational environment, incorporating industry best practices and relevant standards (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288)
• Design and establish a company-wide Enterprise Architecture as the foundation for system development processes
• Lead a project team dedicated to creating and deploying the System Engineering Framework
• Collaborate closely with departments to support and enable the implementation of the Life Cycle Model
• Provide consulting and hands-on support to operational units in applying the framework within ongoing programs and projects
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in System Engineering in various roles (e.g., System Architect, Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer)
• Proven industry background in at least one of the following sectors Aerospace, Space, Defense, Railway, Nuclear- or Big Energy Plants
• Experience in leadership roles such as Engineering Manager or Chief Engineer
• Deep understanding of systems engineering principles, enterprise architecture, and complex development processes
• Track record in the development and introduction of methodological frameworks and company-wide standards
• Hands-on experience in the whole V-Model in different functions (design, integration, validation, development, etc.)
• Track record in change management and successfully managing change or transformation projects.
• Practical experience in cross functional project on company level
• Exposer to various levels of hierarchy within an organization (C-level, Senior Management, Line Management, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, strategic mindset, and high level of initiative
• Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written)
