To support our Accounting team we are searching for a Senior Accountant (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
What You Will Do

- Monitoring of end-to-end processes in the accounts payable area of the group
- Ensuring proper periodic accounting as well as the quality and reliability of P&L and balance sheet positions
- Taking on project responsibility for the further development and optimization of ongoing accounting processes (interfaces)
- Assessing accounting and tax-related issues, business transactions, and matters
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Collaborating with auditors and tax advisors
- Completed commercial training, preferably with further qualification as a certified accountant/tax specialist or a degree, along with relevant professional experience in accounts payable accounting (at least 3+ years)
- Knowledge of HGB and German tax laws
- Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Quick comprehension and strong process understanding, combined with a careful, independent, and structured working style
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- Up to 32 days of holiday, depending on the length of service, starting with 28 days
