UI / UX Designer (m/f/d) - Spain - #2090357

About The Position

As a UI/UX design freelancer for the Spanish mybacs e-commerce shop, you will improve the digital shopping experience of our customers and work closely with the developers and designers of the tech and marketing team on a part-time basis for 20-30 hours per week.

Your mission

• Your goal is to increase the conversion rate of our Spanish e-commerce shop
• You analyse the user behaviour of our customers and work out customer needs in order to make design decisions based on them
• You plan, carry out and evaluate user tests to generate valuable feedback and continuously improve the design
• You create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design ideas clearly and effectively.
• You work closely with developers and other team members to ensure that our designs are successfully implemented and the set UX goals are achieved.
• You are up-to-date with the latest trends in Spanish e-commerce and integrate innovative ideas to increase our competitiveness.
• You develop A/B tests and other testing mechanisms to evaluate the performance of design changes and identify optimisation potential.
• You analyse conversion funnels and use data to identify and optimise bottlenecks and weak points in the purchasing process.
• You work with tools like Lucky Orange, Hotjar, Google Analytics (or similar) to gather data-driven insights into user behavior and make informed UX/UI improvements.
• You collect and analyse data to gain deeper insights into user behaviour and preferences and derive recommendations for UX improvement.
  
  

What You Bring Along

• You are an expert in the Spanish e-commerce market
• You have experience in both UX and UI design — from user research to creating wireframes, mockups, and detailed prototypes (e.g., with Figma or similar tools).
• You have knowledge in conducting user research, including surveys, interviews and the creation of personas to ensure that the designs meet the needs and expectations of the users.
• You understand e-commerce platforms, and experience with Shopify is a big plus.
• You interpret data and metrics with ease, both quantitatively and qualitatively, to objectively evaluate the performance of your designs and develop informed recommendations for improvement.
• You solve complex problems creatively and efficiently by combining aesthetics with functionality and usability.
• You have a strong portfolio of e-commerce projects that demonstrate your ability to create high-converting, user-friendly experiences.
• In addition, you have the ability to think strategically in terms of brand development while always keeping the company's goals in mind. Your design concepts will help improve brand perception and achieve business goals.
• You have excellent communication skills in Spanish (ideally native level) and English, allowing you to collaborate effectively with an international team and clients.
• These qualifications will make you a valuable UX designer, capable of designing high-quality user experiences and driving an organisation's strategic goals.
