Team Lead (m/f/x) PVD-Coatings of Spectacle Lenses in the Research & Development team - #2082022

Your responsibilities

• Disciplinary and technical management of the team incl. laboratory responsibility
• Management of the development of new Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) coatings and coating processes for plastic spectacle lenses
• Definition and superior management of development projects up to the introduction of manufacturing as well as management of coating projects
• Coordination of the introduction of new and continuous optimisations of existing processes and interfaces Evaluation of the quality of coating systems
• Selection of external partners in order to drive innovation proactively
• Evaluation of technical and patent literature

Your profile

• Completed studies in physics or materials science, preferably with a doctorate with a focus on experimental physics
• Several years of professional experience incl. project management in the field of coating development (PVD)
• First leadership experience is an advantage
• Very good IT and MS-Office skills
• Business fluent in German and English
• Ability to independently identify problems and their solution through innovative approaches
• Resilient under pressure as well as a strong team player with excellent communication skills and leadership abilities
• Proactive and systematic working style
