In our team, developers take care of inventory, multiplayer, building system, skills, combat, procedural world building etc. They prototype new gameplay elements and integrate them with the other team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement core gameplay systems (combat, skills, inventory, building, multiplayer)
- Prototype new features and collaborate closely with design and art teams
- Write clean, well-structured C++ code in Unreal Engine 5
- Ensure reliable replication and event-driven gameplay
- Work with and extend the Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
- Debug, optimize, and polish features for a smooth player experience
- Contribute ideas and support your teammates across disciplines
- Experience on AAA PC or console games
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5
- Good knowledge of replication and event-driven programming
- Basic understanding of the Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
- Bonus: familiarity with AI systems
- Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany
- Valid EU work authorization
