As a
Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d) , you act as a strategic advisor and trusted sparring partner to senior leaders across our global R&D organization. Your focus is on enabling sustainable growth, organizational scalability, and business transformation in a highly dynamic technology environment. You help shape the future organization by aligning people strategy with business objectives, ensuring that leadership teams are equipped to navigate rapid expansion, organizational complexity, and integration challenges. The position explicitly focuses on strategic business partnership rather than operational HR activities.
What Is Your Day To Day Mission
Act as a strategic People Partner to senior R&D and Technology leaders, aligning people and business strategy and advising on leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, and long-term growth.
Shape a high-performing global R&D organization through scalable structures, operating models, leadership layers, and talent frameworks, anticipating future capabilities and securing critical engineering and technology talent.
Lead the people-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, including onboarding acquired teams, leadership alignment, cultural integration, and talent retention.
Drive transformation, organizational redesign, and restructuring, supporting international expansion, the integration of new business units, and increasing organizational maturity.
Challenge and influence leadership teams through data-driven insights on organizational effectiveness, succession, and capability development. Assess organizational health to strengthen collaboration, agility, innovation, performance, and execution.
What You Bring To The Team
10+ years of experience in senior HR Business Partner, Organizational Development, Transformation, or People Strategy roles within high-growth technology environments.
Proven track record supporting executive leadership in Engineering, Software, Aerospace, Robotics, Defense, Deep Tech, Semiconductor, or comparable R&D-heavy industries.
Significant experience in rapid organizational scaling, international growth, and complex transformation, including demonstrated success leading the people side of M&A and post-merger integration.
Strong background in organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, succession planning, and strategic talent management.
Ability to influence senior executives and challenge decisions through a consultative, data-driven approach, with exceptional stakeholder management skills and credibility at Executive and Board level.
Deep understanding of how world-class R&D organizations operate and evolve through different growth and maturity phases.
Fluent in German and English.
