Description
Supply Chain Expert — Amazon Vendor Services, Pan-European
Amazon Vendor Services is a paid business-to-business service that helps strategic brands partner with Amazon to grow their business. As a Supply Chain Expert, you own the day-to-day supply chain for a portfolio of brands at a Pan-European level — keeping products available, inventory healthy and costs under control, and supporting the longer-term plan for your brands. You act as the main point of contact for your vendors, work the success metrics you are assigned each day, and make sure every brand's experience demonstrates our customer obsession.
You mostly work within your own team, using established tools, workflows and processes, and you will have the guidance you need as you grow. You contribute to decisions for your assigned brands and partner teams, learn to influence stakeholders across the brand, retail, operations and finance, and build the skills that set you up for the next step in your career.
Key job responsibilities
Supporting the supply chain plan (Tactical): Help deliver the supply chain plan for your brands, coordinating straightforward programs and projects and keeping them on track. You contribute context on vendor and project goals and provide recommendations with guidance from your team.
Running supply chain solutions (Delivery): Support the onboarding and running of supply chain solutions for your brands using existing processes. You troubleshoot with the tools available, flag blockers early, raise visibility of issues and escalate them to the right people.
Buying & inventory health (Analysis & action): Keep your brands' supply chain healthy day to day — availability, stock positioning, lead times and cost. You use data analysis to spot where availability or cost needs attention, and act on it, making trade-offs between time and resources.
Performance & communication (Reporting): Track how your brands are performing against their goals and keep stakeholders informed. You communicate clearly in writing and in meetings, contribute write-ups on your vendors and projects into business reviews, and are trusted to present to leaders.
Improving how we work (Continuous improvement): Recommend improvements to the processes, playbooks and tools your team uses, optimise the ways of working you have been given, and learn and share best practices with the team.
A day in the life
Your days combine hands-on delivery with learning the business. You might start by checking how your brands are tracking against their goals, using data to find where product availability or cost needs attention and acting on it. From there you could join a working session with your team or with retail, operations and finance partners, troubleshoot an issue on one of your brands, move a project forward, or leverage AI tools to build automations. You work with support and guidance close at hand, and over time you take on more on your own. Beyond the core job, you will work in a diverse, international team, learn from experienced mentors, and take up learning opportunities that grow your skills well beyond your day-to-day scope.
About The Team
We are a Pan-European team of Supply Chain Experts who partner directly with strategic brands to grow their business with Amazon. We work in a diverse, international environment where you are supported as you take on your own brands and build real ownership. You will build your network at a European level through community events, team activities and affinity groups, and grow with a clear path toward owning bigger, more strategic scope. Could you embrace this challenge? Come build the future with us!
