Legal Counsel - #2765891
Vertiv
Date: vor 1 Stunde
Stadt: München
Vertragstyp: Ganztags
Job Description
Vertiv's Legal Department is looking for a talented lawyer to support our Legal Team throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, with a primary focus on supporting Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on sales and service agreements with enterprise customers, and partners, as well as providing legal support for local and regional teams. The role includes participating in other legal team projects, including managing legal issues that arise in existing relationships and handling customer and business partner inquiries.
We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, entrepreneurial, enjoys being challenged, has strong technology and communication skills, and demonstrates sound, pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situations.
This position is based in Munich, Germany. Some regional and international travel will be required.
A day in the life
You will work with various teams within the Vertiv organization. Our lawyers value working alongside and in person with their business colleagues and local legal teams to solve a constant flow of novel challenges in a growing and exciting business.
The role involves providing legal support to Vertiv's Sales and Service team covering a range of technology transactions with customers who are often highly knowledgeable about the technology they procure. Work includes transactional, construction and regulatory projects across EMEA with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
Day-to-day activities may include negotiating enterprise agreements with local customers, advising on regulatory matters, coordinating with EMEA teammates on multi-country deal structures, and serving as lead counsel on strategic sales transactions and partnership agreements. You will pioneer AI-driven transformation of legal operations—improving contract review cycles, eliminating manual bottlenecks, and deploying advanced research tools that deliver insights in minutes instead of hours. Your innovations will multiply our legal function's impact, enabling faster decisions, consistency, and proactive risk mitigation.
About The Team
The Germany-based Legal team is part of the broader EMEA Legal organisation and consists of lawyers supporting Vertiv's regional customer base across commercial and public sector engagements. The team also handles EMEA-wide workstreams. Work spans transactional, regulatory, and advisory support across multiple jurisdictions, requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders and legal colleagues throughout the region.
