Starflight Dynamics (SFDY) is a Munich-based SpaceTech company building the foundational technologies for Europe's next generation of orbital infrastructure. Founded in 2023, we develop dual-use systems for space and defence: a green, water-based orbital propulsion stack and modular platforms for in-orbit operations.Working with partners such as the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich and the BAAINBw, we're a small, ambitious team moving fast from prototype to orbit. Mission & Responsibilities

You will own the missions that move SFDY forward as a company, from fundraising and strategic initiatives to the partnerships that shape Europe’s defence in space.

Fundraising & investors

• Coordinate fundraising with the CEO: build and run the investor pipeline, outreach and data room
• Prepare the analyses behind investor conversations, such as market and competitor views and input to financial models and valuation
• Prepare board meetings and investor reporting, and follow through on the decisions taken

Strategic initiatives

• Take end-to-end ownership of company-level missions set with the CEO, from preparation and decision to delivery
• Drive strategic initiatives across Munich and Vilnius together with the C-level and VPs
• Prepare the analyses, decision papers and plans the leadership team needs to move fast

Partners & alignment

• Build and coordinate outreach to government, institutional and industrial partners in Germany and across Europe
• Keep SFDY in Munich and Vilnius and our sister brand Levion Materials aligned on one strategy
• Act as the CEO’s trusted counterpart for priorities, follow-up and special projects

What we are looking for

Must have

• 4+ years either as an investment analyst or associate at a venture, growth or private-equity fund (or a similar investor), or leading fundraising for a start-up or scale-up yourself, raising capital from investors
• Hands-on experience building and running an investor or partner pipeline: sourcing, analysis, outreach and data room
• Structured thinking and sharp writing: you turn ambiguity into clear decision papers
• A track record of owning complex, cross-functional initiatives from first idea to result
• A strong affinity for defence, space or aerospace, and an understanding of what sets these sectors apart
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• German language skills
• A background in strategy consulting, corporate development or government affairs
• A network in the European defence, space or investor ecosystem
• Experience with German or European public institutions (e.g. BAAINBw, DLR, ESA, EDF)
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-country organisation
