As Account Manager Toy Specialist in Munich, you’ll manage important retail partnerships across the DACH region, including branded-channel and specialist accounts. You’ll combine commercial ownership, account planning and hands-on execution to build profitable growth for the LEGO brand.

Our Toy Specialist team manages a broad portfolio ranging from major branded-channel accounts such as LEGOLAND to specialist and independent toy retailers. Working closely with Account Management colleagues and partners across Trade Marketing, Field Sales, Operations and Demand Planning, you’ll help shape plans that connect commercial priorities with memorable shopper experiences.
The role brings you particularly close to our products and retail partners, with considerable ownership for your accounts and plenty of opportunities to build, rebuild and inspire as the team develops.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage retail partnerships and commercial performance across assigned Toy Specialist accounts, taking ownership of day-to-day relationships, business operations and plans that support profitable growth.
- Build and execute Joint Business Plans with retail partners, setting commercial priorities and translating regional direction into clear customer plans and actions.
- Shape the annual Sales and Marketing calendar, covering launches, shopper occasions, consumer content and sales-driving promotions, while tracking execution and following up on outcomes.
- Partner across Trade Marketing, Field Sales, Operations, Demand Planning and Marketing to coordinate priorities and deliver consistent execution across brick-and-mortar and relevant omnichannel accounts.
- Use customer data and commercial insights to assess performance, develop recommendations, manage the P&L within agreed parameters and support profitable double-digit growth ambitions.
- Experience in commercially focused roles within consumer goods, branded products or a comparable environment, with exposure to account management or customer-facing sales responsibilities.
- Comfortable taking ownership, getting things done and approaching challenges with curiosity, commercial judgement and a growth mindset while contributing as an active team player.
- Analytical and organized, with the ability to turn customer and performance data into clear conclusions, recommendations and priorities while managing competing demands.
- Proficient in German, English and French, as the account portfolio includes French-speaking customer relationships alongside German-speaking and international partners.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with omnichannel activations across Sales or Marketing
- Exposure to FMCG, sports, toys or another consumer brand environment where shoppers have a close connection with products and brands.
