About The Role

What You’ll Build
- Shape the safety and reliability engineering function for our core system development programs.
- Conduct rigorous safety and reliability analyses (e.g., FMEA, FTA) to fortify our designs.
- Define and trace critical safety requirements throughout the entire system architecture.
- Drive structured safety and reliability reviews that actively improve system design and integrity.
- Identify potential failure modes and create robust mitigation strategies to minimize operational risk.
- Use performance data and field reports to conduct data-driven analyses that continuously enhance system safety.
- Develop forward-thinking maintenance strategies and support concepts to maximize the operational life of our systems.
- Drive root cause investigations and implement corrective actions that reinforce long-term system integrity.
- A strong background in Safety Engineering, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Several years of hands-on experience in safety and reliability engineering for complex products.
- Direct experience applying methods like FMEA or FTA to real-world, intricate systems.
- A proven track record working with safety-critical or mission-critical systems where failure is not an option.
- Deep familiarity with relevant safety standards (like ISO 12100, MIL-STD-882E, or IEC 61508) and how to apply them effectively.
- A mindset that pairs sharp analytical thinking with practical problem-solving to not just find risks, but drive solutions.
- A collaborative spirit that helps you align technical teams and move complex programs forward.
- The ability to communicate and document complex safety concepts with clarity and precision.
