Job Title - Finance Assistant

Location - Munich

Start Date - ASAP

Finance Assistant (support for “Accounting Specialist” and “Financial Controller”), particularly with the following tasks:

• Review and processing of incoming invoices
• Checking incoming receipts for plausibility, completeness, correctness regarding tax requirements and compliance with internal policies
• Coordinating clarifications with internal departments and external tax advisors when needed, provide receipts to tax advisors (Germany and France)
• Preparing Excel upload files for accounting, filtering upload file data and copying reimbursable expenses to the expense list (support for Admin team)
• Employee expenses: detailed review of expenses in “emburse” (check of correctness regarding tax requirements and compliance with internal policies and/ or approvals)
• Preparation of regular reporting to other departments, like Compliance and Management
• Support with regulatory financial reporting
• Check entries in the CRM tool and send update reminders
• Audit support, e.g. providing sample receipts and bank statements
• Adhoc requests, e.g. report Headcount or cost overviews as requested

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong affinity for numbers
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Commercial experience and/or a background in finance, accounting or economics
• Strong Excel skills
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
• Fluent in German and English
