Founders Associate Intern – CEO Office (f/m/d) - #2718873

QuantumDiamonds is looking for a sharp, driven Founders Associate Intern (f/m/d) to work directly alongside our founders in the CEO Office. This is not a support role at the edge of the action. You'll own real topics end to end: once something is yours, you drive it, you follow up, and you don't let it drop until it's done, from day-to-day operations and internal process building to reporting and supporting business development.

Your work will have real impact: our product and our whole company are evolving at breakneck speed, and we need someone who can take a messy task and drive it to a result. One week you're pulling together the numbers behind a decision, the next you're untangling an operational bottleneck or building the process that stops it from happening again. The founders set the direction, you make sure things actually happen. This is a rare opportunity for a generalist who wants genuine responsibility, broad exposure to how a company is actually built, and a front-row seat next to the founders. Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our strong, international team of over 70, including physicists, engineers, data scientists, and other experts, works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, supporting chip debugging and accelerating yield analysis. Most importantly: Jump on whatever matters most right now, acting as a flexible right hand to the founders on high-priority topics.

• Take full ownership of cross-functional projects that land on the founders' desk, from the first messy question to the thing actually being done.
• Prepare the material the founders need to run the company: updates, presentations, and reporting, including board and investor communication.
• Build structure where there is none by turning routines that only live in someone's head into processes, tools, and workflows the team actually uses.
• Pull together the numbers, dashboards, and overviews behind key decisions, often from data spread across several tools.
• Work directly with technical, commercial, and leadership teams (including the CEO) to move priorities forward and unblock the team.
• Support hiring and organizational topics, helping us attract and onboard the talent we need to grow.

• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field, ideally with strong academic results.
• Strong problem-solving skills: you can break down an unclear situation and drive it to a result.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers, data, and tools like Excel and slides. Experience with automation tools (n8n, Zapier, or similar) is a plus.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• An ownership mentality: you take initiative, follow up until things are closed, and want real responsibility rather than just supporting others.
• A hands-on attitude and genuine comfort working in a fast-paced startup where priorities evolve quickly and not every task is glamorous.
• An interest in deep tech, science, or hard technology businesses, plus the curiosity to learn how a company is really built.
• First experience in startups, a founder's team, or an operational role is a plus, but not a must. So is having organized something real yourself, for example a student initiative, a team project, or an event.

QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, develops and manufactures semiconductor inspection systems based on quantum sensing. Spun out of the Technical University of Munich in 2022, the company uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to map electrical current with micrometer precision inside advanced 2.5D and 3D chip architectures. Nine of the world's ten largest semiconductor manufacturers are engaged with QuantumDiamonds, with systems deployed across Europe, the United States, and Asia. The company is investing €152 million to build the world's first production facility for quantum sensing-based semiconductor inspection tools, supported under the European Chips Act.
