We are seeking an Executive Assistant who will play an active role in shaping the development of the business unit. Working closely with the Global Head of Munich Re Markets and the senior leadership team, you will contribute to strategy development, business initiatives, key transactions, and management activities across the organization. This is a highly visible and intellectually demanding role at the intersection of strategy, business development, executive management, and project execution, offering broad exposure to senior decision-making in an international environment.

The position is based in Munich.

Your Job

• Analyze Munich Re Markets' business model, products, clients, markets, and operating structure to support strategic decision-making
• Support the review and continuous enhancement of the business unit's target operating model, processes, and management frameworks
• Drive divisional development initiatives in close collaboration with the Global Head and senior leadership team
• Monitor strategic priorities, projects, and key business developments, ensuring effective coordination and execution across the organization
• Lead and manage strategically relevant projects sponsored by the Global Head of Munich Re Markets
• Coordinate Board of Management and internal committee engagements, including stakeholder management, preparation of materials, and follow-up activities
• Provide analytical and operational support on management topics within the Global Head's area of responsibility
• Prepare high-quality presentations, decision papers, and management communications for senior stakeholders
• Participate in cross-functional projects and independently drive special assignments and ad hoc initiatives
  
  
  

Your Profile

• University degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field
• Relevant professional experience, ideally within financial services, consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a comparable environment
• Familiarity with financial markets and capital market businesses would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and solve complex business challenges
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented working style with a high level of ownership
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to operate effectively in an international and multicultural environment
