AMAVI Capital is a pan-European investment platform operating at the intersection of real assets, private equity and technology. We invest in companies driving innovation and digitization in the built environment and actively support them with our expertise and network.

For one of our portfolio companies we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to take on the role of Managing Director. The role combines overall responsibility for the company with a clear focus on corporate finance and capital raising.

Your Responsibilities

1. Company Leadership & Strategy

• Overall leadership: As Managing Director, you assume full responsibility for the company and steer it both operationally and strategically – in close and trusted collaboration with the shareholders and the advisory board.

• Platform builder: You systematically develop the company into a lean, technology- and AI-driven platform, building processes, team and systems accordingly.

2. Debt Fundraising & Refinancing Strategy

• Opening up new capital markets: You take the financing structure to the next level by structuring and negotiating new, large-volume facilities with commercial banks, building societies and institutional investors (e.g. debt funds, insurance companies).

• Portfolio growth: You own and optimize the existing financing volume of more than €300 million, maintain relationships with financing partners and strategically expand existing credit lines.

• Asset financing and product development: You develop new home equity release models from a financing perspective and secure the corresponding asset fundraising (debt and, where required, equity).

3. Corporate Finance & Investor Relations

• Equity fundraising: You structure future internal and external financing rounds of the company.• Investor relations: You manage relationships with existing investors and report regularly to the shareholder group and the advisory board.

• M&A and transaction management: You support and structure prospective changes in the shareholder structure and M&A processes, including the associated due diligence.

4. Finance Operations: Controlling & Accounting

• Planning and forecasting: You own budgeting, forecasts and scenario analyses, and drive topics from analysis through to execution.

• Institutional-grade controlling: You implement scalable reporting structures, KPIs and automation as the basis for well-founded management decisions.

• Accounting oversight: Together with the team and external advisors, you ensure transparent monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (German GAAP / HGB) as well as scalable finance processes.

Your Profile

• Professional background: Several years of leadership experience in the financial sector, ideally in corporate/investment banking, real estate finance, debt advisory, with institutional real estate investors, PE funds, or in a C-level role at a capital-intensive growth company.

• Languages: German (native) and English

• Fundraising expertise: A demonstrable track record in structuring and negotiating large-volume financings – the asset class is secondary: a background in (investment) banking, private equity or debt advisory is an ideal foundation. An existing network of banks and institutional capital providers is a plus.

• Corporate finance and transaction competence: Proven experience in independently leading complex transaction and due diligence processes – from structuring through negotiation to closing. Complemented by strong command of financial modelling, planning and the build-up of controlling structures.

• Technology and AI affinity: You think processes from a technology and AI perspective first and aspire to build a lean, highly automated organization.

• Entrepreneurship and leadership: You combine strategic vision with a hands-on mentality, negotiate with confidence and represent the company credibly at C-level, both internally and externally.
