The Role

Are you passionate about payroll and accounting and looking for a role where you can make a real impact? As a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d), you will take ownership of key payroll accounting processes, contribute to audits and reporting, and help shape efficient, high-quality payroll operations in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• You will take ownership of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual personnel cost statements, ensuring a high level of data accuracy and quality.
• As a key point of contact, you will support the preparation and coordination of payroll-related external audits.
• You will ensure meaningful and high-quality reporting, providing a reliable basis for informed decision-making.
• Working closely with the team, you will contribute to the further development of our internal control system and help ensure compliance with relevant processes and standards.
• You will manage and administer our internal ATOSS ASES system landscape while supporting the continuous optimization of payroll-related processes.
• You will independently drive special topics and projects within the Payroll team, actively contributing your ideas and expertise.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in payroll, finance, or accounting
• Experience working with accounting systems, ideally SAP Business ByDesign
• Advanced Excel skills and confident use of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interest in the intersection of payroll, accounting, and process improvement
• Structured, independent, and reliable way of working, combined with a high level of discretion
• A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working with a variety of stakeholders
• Fluent German and good English language skills
