Safety Assessor (f/m/d) - #2707020

As a recognized technical expert in Functional Safety, you will perform technical assessments of safety related semiconductor products, you are involved in System Safety Solution developments and drive cutting-edge innovation topics.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISO26262 / IEC61508 Functional Safety assessments
• Support process update for ISO26262 and IEC61508 compliance
• Deliver Safety training
• Support cutting-edge innovation topics – Proof of concept
• Maintain / Enhance the Safety Culture within the company - disseminate the Functional Safety approach across organizational boundaries and with management
• Travel domestically and internationally as required
  
  

Skills Required

• Demonstrated technical leadership, capacity of influencing, convincing
• Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies, complex Functional Safety products
• Proven ability to enroll technical and business stakeholders, including internal engineering teams and customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills spanning technical contributors, business stakeholders, customers, and executive management.
  
  

Experience & Education

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 10+ years in Safety for SW (architecture, design, test) dedicated to functional safety systems in automotive or industrial
• Very good knowledge of ISO-26262
• Good understanding of the responsibility share between supplier and OEM when it comes to product safety
• Previous experience of team management
• Desirable: knowledge in Model Based Design (MBD) for SW
• Desirable: Previous experience as Safety architect in development of Safety Element out of Context for Embedded Software component
