Responsibilities

Do you want to help shape how Finance works in an AI-driven world? As a (Senior) Agentic Finance Engineer, you will join our Strategic Finance team and help build the analytical and technical foundation that transforms Finance from a largely manual and retrospective function into an automated, agent-based decision intelligence organisation.

You will work at the intersection of Finance, Data, AI and Engineering, developing scalable analytical solutions that explain business performance, support capital allocation decisions and enable long-term value creation.

• Develop analytical models and frameworks that explain why business performance moves, going beyond traditional variance analysis to identify structural drivers, second-order effects and long-term implications
• Design, build and deploy automated and agent-driven analytical workflows that can query complex financial logic, perform contextual performance deep dives and run scenario simulations
• Translate financial and strategic logic into scalable, reusable decision-support products rather than one-off analyses or presentations
• Build intuitive interfaces and analytical tools that enable Finance stakeholders and senior management to access relevant insights efficiently
• Continuously improve analytical products by tracking adoption, gathering user feedback and enhancing usability and functionality
• Support the transformation of the wider Finance organisation towards an AI- and agent-enabled way of working
• Act as a bridge between Finance, Business Intelligence, Data and Technology teams to ensure harmonised, scalable and interoperable solutions
• Partner closely with Strategic Finance and senior leadership on questions related to business performance, portfolio management, capital allocation and long-term value creation
• Help establish standards, architectures and best practices for using AI and automation within Finance
  
  

Requirements

• University degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or a comparable discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in Finance, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or a combination of these areas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, first-principles and systems-thinking mindset
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python, including data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas
• Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to translate financial and business logic into scalable analytical solutions
• High level of technical curiosity and a strong interest in automation, AI and modern data architectures
• Ability to independently structure complex and ambiguous problems and translate them into pragmatic solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences – from explaining a data model to a CFO to discussing pipeline architecture with an engineer
• Proactive, collaborative and hands-on working style with a strong sense of ownership
