Forward Deployed Engineer - #2700886

We are working with an early-stage, venture-backed industrial AI company building technology that helps manufacturers connect their data, understand their operations and deploy AI agents to solve real-world factory problems.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work directly with customers from initial discovery through deployment, helping them identify valuable use cases, integrate their systems and deliver solutions that create measurable operational impact.

• Work directly with customers to understand their factories, systems, workflows and key operational challenges
• Lead technical discovery and translate manufacturing problems into practical AI agents and workflows
• Integrate industrial data from systems such as PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, databases and APIs
• Deploy, troubleshoot and continuously improve solutions while feeding customer insights back into the product team
  
  

• Strong technical background across software, data, industrial systems or a related field
• Experience with Python, APIs, databases and/or data integration
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to work with engineers, operations teams and enterprise IT
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites
  
  

• Experience within manufacturing, industrial technology, AI or enterprise software
• Familiarity with industrial protocols such as OPC UA or MQTT
• Experience working with AI/ML, automation or complex data environments
• German, French, Italian or another European language alongside fluent English
  
  

• Salary of up to €100,000 + meaningful equity
• Hybrid working with 3 days per week onsite in Munich
• Work directly with founders, technical teams and major industrial customers
