Principal GRC and Cloud Architect with over 15 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Native Security and Cloud Solution Architecture to lead cloud security initiatives and design robust cloud solutions for a customer support engagement.

Job Description:

• Being customer facing, lead a global team that provides Cloud Security & GRC support services
• Architect and design comprehensive cloud security solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure native security features
• Develop and implement cloud solution architectures that align with organizational goals and security best practices
• Integrate Azure Defender Security to enhance threat detection and response capabilities within Azure environments
• Evaluate and recommend cloud security technologies and tools to strengthen the security posture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure cloud adoption and governance
• Provide strategic guidance on cloud security compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Lead the design and deployment of scalable secure and resilient cloud infrastructures
• Drive innovation in cloud security architecture and continuously improve security controls
• Mentor and guide technical teams on cloud security architecture and best practices

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Azure native security solutions across enterprise cloud environments
• Oversee cloud solution architecture initiatives ensuring alignment with business and security objectives
• Manage and optimize Azure Defender Security configurations and policies to detect and mitigate threats
• Organize and manage global team providing contracted services to customers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and translate them into cloud architecture designs
• Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for cloud deployments
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies related to cloud security
• Provide expert advice on cloud security incidents and coordinate incident response activities
• Drive continuous improvement in cloud security posture through proactive monitoring and analysis
• Lead training sessions and workshops to build cloud security awareness and capabilities within teams
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on cloud security architectures policies and procedures.
