RF / Microwave Engineer — Next-generation datalink platforms. Munich, on-site. All levels welcome.

A Munich-based deep tech company is developing next-generation datalink platforms for high-performance communications. The engineering team works at the intersection of RF hardware, DSP, antenna design, and software — building systems where performance and reliability are non-negotiable.

As RF/Microwave Engineer, you’ll design, simulate, prototype, and validate RF front-end circuits for high-performance datalink systems in sub-6 GHz and microwave frequency bands. Signal chain architectures, power amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, filters, frequency synthesis — this is hands-on, lab-validated, high-performance RF engineering.

What You’ll Do

→ Design and simulate RF front-end circuits across RF and microwave bands

→ Develop PA stages, LNAs, mixers, filters, and frequency generation circuits

→ RF cascade analysis: gain, noise figure, linearity, stability, dynamic range

→ Link budget analysis and system-level RF performance optimisation

→ Circuit and system-level simulation using ADS, AWR, or equivalent

→ Schematic design and PCB layout support for high-frequency circuits

→ Lab characterisation with VNA, spectrum analysers, signal generators

→ Develop validation and production test methodologies

What We’re Looking For

→ 3+ years of industry or research experience in RF/microwave circuit design

→ Experience designing PAs, LNAs, mixers, filters, or PLLs

→ Strong understanding of impedance matching, S-parameters, noise figure, linearity, stability

→ Experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyser, signal generator)

→ RF simulation tools: ADS, AWR, or similar

→ Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, physics, or related discipline

→ Based in Munich, on-site
