Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d) - #2687708

This role is for our subsidiary, Franka Robotics GmbH. You'll primarily work on-site at Franka's office in Munich.

Your role

• You are part of the Diagnostics and Testing Team, which is focusing on product quality
• You work in close collaboration with product development in order to set test requirements and specifications
• You are responsible for designing and executing tests on the system or component level, with the support of our multidisciplinary team
• You are responsible for designing mechatronic test systems
• You are conscientious in documenting test cases, reports, and bugs

Your experience and qualifications

• Academic degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, software or related engineering field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechatronics systems
• Very good mechatronics understanding, hands-on attitude
• Programming knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++
• Experience in writing clean and structured code
• Experience in test rig instrumentation, test execution, and data processing
• Experience in working with torque sensors, position sensors, and electrical motors
• Experience working with bus communication protocols, such as SPI, CAN, EtherCAT
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network concepts
• Fluent in English
• Driver’s license category B
