Client Engagement Lead - Data & AI (m/f/d) - #2679640

We're looking for a Client Engagement Lead – Data & AI to join our team in Berlin, Frankfurt, Leipzig or Munich, Germany, in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will take ownership of key client relationships, lead engagements from vision to delivery, and serve as a trusted advisor for data and AI initiatives. You will combine business strategy expertise with technical fluency to influence senior stakeholders, shape solutions and drive measurable business outcomes.

You will play an active role in presales by identifying opportunities, scoping engagements, and creating commercially viable proposals. Success will be defined by delivering impactful projects, strengthening strategic partnerships, and enabling account growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for Data & AI engagements
• Lead presales activities, including shaping proposals, supporting opportunity qualification and engagement design
• Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities and securing long-term partnerships
• Guide engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring outcomes align with established objectives and timelines
• Collaborate with technical experts to design data modernization, AI and machine learning adoption strategies
• Promote best practices for data governance, analytics and enterprise AI integration across engagements
• Manage risk, scope and client expectations while steering multidisciplinary teams toward success
• Support commercial negotiations by presenting proposals and defining engagement terms
• Represent EPAM in thought leadership forums, including client advisory sessions and industry events
• Monitor the evolving Data & AI landscape and proactively position EPAM as a strategic partner
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience managing client-facing data and AI initiatives within consulting, professional services or systems integration environments
• Track record of leading presales activities, including solution scoping and proposal development, and converting opportunities into revenue
• Strong ability to build credibility with C-level executives and communicate effectively across business and technical discussions
• Working knowledge of modern Data & AI solutions including cloud platforms, data engineering, governance, machine learning and generative AI
• Experience in engagement design, estimation and value framing for enterprise clients
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts into business value
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree or industry certifications (cloud, data, AI) are an advantage
