Your Role

We're seeking an Art Lead who can define and guide the visual identity of a deeply immersive, photorealistic world. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team of artists and collaborate with engineering and design to create a world that's beautiful, believable, and alive—from rugged terrain and weathered buildings to expressive characters and atmospheric lighting.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the game's hyper-realistic visual direction
• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional art team (environment, character, tech art, animation)
• Guide and review the creation of assets, lighting, and world-building with a consistent eye for realism
• Establish and maintain scalable, efficient workflows and pipelines
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to ensure visual quality supports gameplay
• Oversee both internal and external asset production and quality
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AAA game development
• Strong artistic fundamentals in anatomy, lighting, composition, and materials
• Solid understanding (not expert-level) of our toolset: Unreal Engine 5, ZBrush, Blender, and Marvelous Designer
• Ability to balance hands-on creative direction with team coordination and production awareness
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
• Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany
• Valid EU work authorization
