The Team 

You will join a dynamic Talent Acquisition team of 40+ colleagues across EMEA. As a Senior Associate in the Talent Acquisition team in Germany, you will support the delivery of sourcing and recruitment activity across business units in Germany, with additional support across other EMEA locations as required.

This is an important role in a strategically significant market. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues, hiring managers and business stakeholders to identify, engage and attract outstanding talent into Alvarez & Marsal. You will play a key role in supporting A&M’s ambitious growth in Germany and across the wider EMEA region.

How You Will Contribute

• You will work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues and the business to understand hiring needs, skills gaps and recruitment priorities across the organisation.
• You will support the development and deployment of candidate sourcing strategies, using your research and sourcing skills as well as the tools available to the business and TA team across Europe. This will include direct sourcing, advertising response, social media, campus recruiting, networking and referrals.
• You will manage a rigorous screening process, including candidate identification, initial qualification, interviews, appropriate skills assessments and referencing.
• You will partner with hiring managers and TA colleagues on role requirements, sharing market intelligence on competitors and the wider talent market, while helping to promote our employer brand and diversity and inclusion policies.
• You will provide accurate and timely recruitment updates, reports and market information to TA colleagues and the business, while supporting briefing and preparation sessions with hiring managers.
• You will support all aspects of the offer stage and act as an effective point of coordination between candidates, hiring managers, HR, Legal and the wider TA team across the EMEA region.
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrable recruitment, retained search or proactive sourcing experience, gained within an executive search firm or in-house Talent Acquisition team.
• Experience recruiting or sourcing across multiple disciplines and seniority levels, ideally including executive level roles.
• Strong German market knowledge and candidate network; wider European experience would be desirable.
• Skilled in direct sourcing, candidate engagement and tools such as LinkedIn, social media and other relevant candidate networks.
• Experience supporting end-to-end, inclusive recruitment processes, including candidate identification, screening, interview coordination and offer stage support.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and candidate engagement skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, commercially aware and able to quickly understand new business areas.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken, is essential.
