## About the Role

TÜV SÜD Digital Service GmbH is seeking a Senior Software Architect to take technical and architectural responsibility for AI-related software development projects within its digital teams. The role focuses on modern AI-assisted software development, scalable cloud-based architectures, Data Analytics, software architecture standards, and secure software development practices.

The successful candidate will help development teams adopt modern AI-supported methods, establish architecture and coding best practices, and provide technical guidance through design workshops, architecture reviews, code reviews, training, and mentoring. The position also involves evaluating emerging trends in Cloud, DevOps, and AI-assisted software development and translating them into practical architectural recommendations.

## Key Responsibilities

* Take technical and architectural responsibility for AI-related software development projects within digital teams.

* Enable teams to effectively use modern AI-assisted methods in software development.

* Establish, maintain, and continuously develop architecture guidelines, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

* Promote innovative development approaches through training, workshops, and practical support.

* Conduct design workshops for strategic AI and Data Analytics projects.

* Perform architecture and code reviews for strategically important AI and Data Analytics projects.

* Monitor and evaluate current technology trends, including Cloud, DevOps, and AI in software development.

* Develop recommendations for applying emerging technologies within software architectures and development guidelines.

* Support the continued development and practical application of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at TÜV SÜD.

## Required Qualifications

* Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.

* At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in software development.

* Solid knowledge of modern AI-based software development methods and architectural approaches.

* Knowledge of test automation and Secure Software Development.

* Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, cloud-based architectures in AI and Data Analytics environments.

* Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

* Excellent communication skills in German at C1 level or higher.

* Excellent communication skills in English.

* Enthusiasm for the continued development and practical use of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

* Professional experience with a focus on software architecture.

* Previous experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Software Engineer.
