Salary of €70,000 - €80,000 Dependent Upon Experience + Benefits.

What You Will Do

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for activating the retail channel by translating product strategy into compelling, high-impact execution across physical stores and e-commerce environments, with the clear objective of driving visibility and sell-out of our products across Germany & Austria.

You will lead the development and execution of joint trade marketing strategies and omni-channel campaigns for key retail and e-commerce partners. Acting as the central interface between brand, product management, sales, and retail partners, the function ensures that all activations are locally relevant, commercially effective, and executed with excellence at the point of sale.

A critical dimension of the role is the strong linkage to product lines, lifecycle management and effective campaigns. The function translates product strategy into commercially effective go-to-market plans, ensuring that each category and New Product Introduction (NPI) is supported by best-in-class retail activation across all channels. From launch readiness to sustained in-market execution, the focus is on maximizing visibility, traffic to stores, conversion, and long-term sell-out performance.

The role owns the successful rollout, activation, and scaling of NPIs in the market, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and touchpoints. It requires a highly commercial and execution-driven mindset, strong partner management capabilities, and a deep understanding of shopper behaviours and retail dynamics across Germany & Austria, combined with the ability to orchestrate integrated campaigns across the full omni-channel ecosystem.

What You Need To Succeed

• Trade Marketing and Go to Market experience gained with the Consumer Goods/Retail environment
• Experience in managing product launches (NPI), designing GTM programs, marketing planning and implementing campaigns
• Solid understanding of the German and Austrian retail and e-commerce landscape, particularly with the retail partners or channels related to Haier’s industry
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through retail activation and sales programs
• Understanding of the digital and physical buying journey (omni-channel) with a consumer centric mindset and a sense of detail driven execution excellence
• Strong network with our existing retail partners, especially Media Saturn and the Buying Groups
• Strong executional mindset with passion for trade & retail excellence and shopper impact
• Commercially driven with clear focus on sell-out and ROI
• Ability to translate product features into compelling stories and retail activation
• A team player with strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Fluent in German and English
