Get to know Visual Components

Visual Components is a key technology partner to many of the world’s most ambitious manufacturers, system integrators, and machine builders. Our mission is to help them design, optimise, and deliver production systems faster, more efficiently, and with less risk in an industry evolving at an unprecedented pace.

Our software enables the design, testing, and optimisation of production lines with a level of speed and accuracy that is difficult to match, covering factory simulation, virtual commissioning, and offline programming.

Manufacturers using Visual Components significantly reduce both time and risk in critical investment decisions. System integrators gain a clear competitive advantage by designing and delivering better systems, faster, and with stronger visualisation to support their sales process.

As part of the KUKA Group, one of the world’s leading industrial robotics companies, we operate at a scale and level of impact that few in the industry can match.

We are trusted by over 2,400 organisations globally and contribute to advancing industrial automation through partnerships with leading academic and research institutions.

Headquartered in Espoo, Finland, with offices in Germany, the United States, and Japan.

The role and the team

You will be responsible for leading our regional sales organisation, delivering sustainable revenue growth, expanding our presence into new markets, and building a high-performing commercial team.

Working closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, Simulation Experts and KUKA, you will execute our go-to-market strategy, develop future sales leaders, and ensure commercial excellence across the region.

You will be based in Paris, the Birmingham area (UK), or the Augsburg/Munich area (Germany) and will lead our commercial activities across EMEA.

Your impact

Lead the EMEA sales organisation

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop top commercial talent.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a customer-centric, high-performance sales organisation.

Deliver sustainable revenue growth

  • Own regional revenue, pipeline and forecasting performance.
  • Drive new customer acquisition while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline quality and sales execution.
  • Ensure consistent execution of our sales methodology and commercial best practices.

Expand market presence

  • Identify and develop new market opportunities across EMEA.
  • Drive expansion into new geographies, industries and customer segments.
  • Work with Marketing and Partnerships to build scalable go-to-market plans.
  • Help establish Visual Components as the leading simulation platform across the region.

Develop strategic customer relationships

  • Personally support strategic customer opportunities and executive engagements.
  • Build strong relationships with manufacturers, system integrators and machine builders.
  • Support complex negotiations and major commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Sales on multinational accounts.

Drive cross-functional execution

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Partnerships and Simulation Experts to maximise commercial performance.
  • Work alongside KUKA sales teams to develop joint business opportunities.
  • Provide market insights to Product Management and Leadership.
  • Continuously improve commercial processes, tools and customer experience.

The skills you will bring

  • Proven success leading B2B sales teams within industrial software, industrial automation, manufacturing technology or a related industry.
  • A strong track record of consistently delivering revenue growth.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed sales organisations.
  • Excellent coaching and people leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and strategic thinking.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management and sales execution capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and executive relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English. Additional European languages (particularly French or German) are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA.

The Team

You will lead the EMEA Sales organisation and work closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, Simulation Experts, Enterprise Sales and the KUKA commercial organisation.

The role offers the opportunity to shape the future growth of Visual Components across one of our most strategically important regions.

Perks of joining us

  • A highly visible leadership role supporting the growth of Visual Components across EMEA.
  • The opportunity to work at the intersection of industrial software, robotics and manufacturing transformation.
  • Close collaboration with Visual Components and KUKA leadership teams.
  • A flexible working model based in France, the UK or Germany.
  • Competitive compensation, including a performance-related component.
  • Opportunities to shape strategy, build high-performing teams and make a significant commercial impact.
  • An international, collaborative working environment.
