Your Role




Key responsibilities in your new role

• Development of Power Devices characterization methods


• Design, development, operation and maintenance of technical systems for characterization of Si, SiC and GaN HV Power Transistors


• Documentation of design specifications, test procedures and compliance reports


• Characterization of Power Devices for Technology and Product Development, Modelling, Application Engineering and Competitor Analysis


• Cross-collaboration with Product Development, Technical Marketing and System Engineering groups


• Act as a technical lead, providing technical guidance to the CV community

Your Profile




Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, focused on electronic systems, instrumentation or related fields, with at least 6 years of experience in Hardware Development in a lab environment


• PCB Design expertise for analog, digital and mixed-signal applications, with focus on Power Electronics, including component selection, layout optimization and signal integrity


• Parasitics extraction & analysis using ANSYS tools, including modeling of stray capacitance and inductance for performance optimization


• Deep knowledge of Power Electronics devices, including HV Si, SiC and GaN transistors, combined with SPICE simulation (SIMetrix) for predictive validation before prototyping


• Characterization & test infrastructure design, capable of developing continuous operation test stations for device characterization under extended stress conditions, plus strong lab skills for hardware performance evaluation


• Problem solving and cross-functional collaboration, with strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex hardware issues, working closely with Product Development, Technical Marketing and System Engineering teams


• Documentation & communication, including design specifications, test procedures and compliance reports, combined with technical leadership, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
