Job Title: Intern (m/f/d) – Sales (Automotive Sector)
Location: Munich, Germany
Type of Employment: Full-time Internship (ideally 6 months)
About the Role:
Are you looking to gain practical experience in the sales department of an automotive company and are you ready to get hands-on in the automotive world? XPENG Austria is building an innovative new mobility brand — and we’re looking for a Student Assistant to support our Sales Operations team as we scale in Austria.
Then you’re in the right place! As an intern (m/f/d) in Sales, you will support our team in managing our retailer clients and handling the day-to-day operations of our vehicle sales processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supporting the sales team in reviewing and verifying subsidy applications
- Work with data, reports, and operational dashboards
- Maintain and update customer and vehicle data in CRM and ordering systems
- Create presentations, reports, and market analyses for internal and external use
- Collaborate with related departments with internal teams, logistics partners and suppliers
- Help improve processes and support exciting launch projects
- Provide assistance with daily operations and ongoing projects in the Sales department
Your Profile:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Management, or a related field
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and in sales
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Structured, proactive, hands-on mindset Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ideally, some first practical experience in sales or customer-related areas
- Native German speaker and Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Driver’s license (Class B) is a plus
