Their technologies help scientists accelerate discovery, improve workflows, and solve complex scientific challenges through innovative instrumentation and cutting-edge tools.


As they continue to grow across Europe, they are seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to develop business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships throughout Germany with a focus on Munich.


This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building long-term customer partnerships, and is passionate about supporting scientific innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within academic, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across target organisations.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer seminars.
  • Manage sales opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to order completion.
  • Navigate complex procurement and purchasing processes within large organisations.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and customer information within the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence to senior leadership.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's product portfolio and its applications.
  • Foster long-term customer satisfaction and maintain strong post-sale relationships.


About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 3+ years of proven experience selling scientific instrumentation, laboratory technologies, or life sciences solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Based in or near Munich, Germany.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight travel.


Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of analytical or characterisation technologies used within biologics, genomics, or cell & gene therapy workflows.
  • Experience selling into biotechnology, pharmaceutical, research institute, or academic environments.
