Freelance Electrical Design Engineer (EPLAN P8) | Munich | 6 Month Contract | ASAP Start

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer / Elektrokonstrukteur with strong EPLAN Electric P8 expertise and a background in complex industrial or communication systems?

We're supporting an exciting engineering project in the Munich area and are looking for an experienced freelancer to join the team and contribute to the delivery of sophisticated electrical systems from concept through to implementation.

Your Responsibilities

Create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8

Develop hardware planning concepts, cable lists and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Select and specify cables, connectors and electrical components

Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation

Support ERP master data management and engineering documentation

Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Your Profile

Several years of experience in electrical design engineering

Strong knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8

Experience producing electrical schematics, cable lists and BOMs

Understanding of industrial communication systems and electrical standards

Experience with hardware planning and technical documentation

Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering data management

Strong communication skills in German and English

Contract Details

Location: Munich Area, Germany (primarily onsite)

Duration: 6 months with potential extension

Contract: Freelance

40 hours per week

Start: ASAP
