Lead Machine Learning Engineer - #2635885

Are you a Machine Learning Engineer who's tired of building models that never reach production? Our client's ML features are core to their product, not a side project.

They're hiring a Tech Lead who will own the technical direction for their machine learning efforts across their current and future product offering.

What you'll do:

• Drive end-to-end delivery of machine learning solutions - from prototype and pilots through to deployment into production
• Work closely with the Chief Product Officer, and wider product and engineering teams, to deliver machine learning features within products
• Coach and mentor 2-3 engineers, embedding best practices and helping them to successfully contribute to the machine learning stack

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience designing and shipping machine learning solutions that bring measurable business value
• Strong technical knowledge - this is a small team, and we expect the Lead Engineer to be hands-on with the team when needed, leading from the front
• Experience making safe, tested, and observable machine learning systems, including building the tooling and pipelines that make this sustainable at scale
