SAP Program Manager | 16-Month Contract | Remote (Hybrid – Munich)

We're partnering with a manufacturing client currently in the design phase of a major S/4HANA transformation programme, and they're looking for an experienced SAP Program Manager to join on a 16-month contract.

Location: Remote, with on-site presence required 3 days every 3 weeks in Munich

Duration: 16 months (strong likelihood of extension)

Sector: Manufacturing

Engagement: Freelance/Contract

Programme stage: Design phase - S/4HANA transformation

What you'll be doing:

• Owning overall programme governance, planning, and delivery across the S/4HANA design phase
• Coordinating multiple workstreams, system integrators, and internal stakeholders to keep the programme on track
• Managing risks, dependencies, and budget across the design and into early build planning
• Acting as the key point of escalation between business sponsors, IT leadership, and delivery partners
• Driving decision-making and ensuring design outputs are aligned with business and architectural goals

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Programme/Project Manager on large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformations, ideally having led or co-led a design phase
• Manufacturing industry background strongly preferred
• Experience working with global system integrators and multi-vendor delivery teams
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with regular travel to Munich
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills - fluent English required, German a plus
