Stoneleaf Search is mandated by a well-capitalised European real estate investment and development platform to appoint a Land & Development Acquisitions VP to join its Munich team. The business operates a value creation strategy across urban living, mixed-use and regeneration opportunities, with an active pipeline and capital ready to deploy.

This is a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you will work closely with senior leadership and play a central role in sourcing, originating, shaping, and advancing opportunities across Munich and the wider Southern German market. The remit sits across both investment and development, with a strong emphasis on relationship-led sourcing, land acquisition, off-market opportunities and local market origination, alongside understanding planning dynamics and driving projects from early-stage opportunity assessment through to capitalisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and source land, standing asset, off-market, and relationship-led development opportunities across Munich and Southern Germany.
• Lead early-stage evaluation including planning context, feasibility, underwriting, and commercial assessment.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to progress opportunities efficiently.
• Build and maintain a strong local network across landowners, municipalities, advisors, brokers, and developers to source, review, and advance opportunities aligned with the platform’s strategy through direct relationships and origination.
• Support transaction execution, business planning, and investment committee materials.
• Take ownership of opportunities from identification through to capitalisation and handover into delivery.
• Monitor market activity and contribute to the ongoing development of investment priorities.

The Individual

• Strong experience across real estate investment, development, acquisitions or sourcing-led development activity, typically gained over 8-15 years.
• Deep local market exposure within Munich and Southern Germany, ideally across residential, mixed-use, or regeneration-led opportunities, with an established network and strong local credibility.
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to assess planning, risk, feasibility, and value creation.
• Proven ability to source and originate opportunities through strong local relationships, market connectivity and proactive business development activity.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and communicating with senior stakeholders and partners.
• Fluent in English and German.
