Investment Associate | Infrastructure | Munich

A Munich-based infrastructure investment firm focused on core and value-add infrastructure assets across Europe is hiring an Associate to support origination, execution, and portfolio management across sectors including energy, transport, digital infrastructure, and utilities.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate infrastructure investment opportunities across Europe, with a focus on DACH and surrounding markets
• Support execution of transactions including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring
• Build investment cases, IC memos, and long-term return projections for core and value-add infrastructure assets
• Conduct sector mapping and thematic research across energy transition, digital infrastructure (fiber, data centers), mobility, and utilities
• Monitor and support portfolio assets, including operational KPIs, refinancing, expansion projects, and asset optimization
• Assist in debt financing processes and engagement with lenders, advisors, and co-investors

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure/private equity, investment banking, Big 4 advisory, management consulting, or related investing roles
• Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of project finance and infrastructure asset valuation
• Familiarity with infrastructure sectors such as energy, transport, utilities, or digital infrastructure
• Commercial mindset with ability to evaluate long-duration, yield-driven investment cases
• Strong execution capability, attention to detail, and comfort working on complex transactions
• Based in or willing to relocate to Munich; German language skills are mandatory
