Position Overview

The role focuses on operational procurement of software and related services, ensuring transparent handling of acquisitions, compliance with commercial standards, and alignment with organizational requirements. The position supports the preparation, execution, and follow-up of service procurement processes, including vendor evaluation and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute service mini-competitions and requests for quotations in the software domain.
• Advise internal departments on procurement processes and review evaluations submitted by stakeholders.
• Prepare procurement documentation for new requirements, clarifying details with internal buyers and relevant departments.
• Publish and manage procurement processes in digital procurement tools.
• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulations throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Respond to vendor inquiries in coordination with internal teams.
• Review formal offers, suitability, pricing, and contract elements.
• Prepare evaluation materials and request missing documents from vendors as needed.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a relevant field or a degree in business administration or equivalent; alternatively, recognized IT apprenticeship or minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP MM, and procurement systems (SRM).
• Fluent in German (C1) and English (B1) according to CEFR standards.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software procurement, IT purchasing, or license management.
• At least 1 year of experience with EU-wide procurement regulations and tendering processes.
• Strong teamwork, professional communication, and clear expression skills.
