Frontend Engineer | Munich | Open salary + equity

Early-stage AI company in Munich building agentic software for complex industrial sales.

Their agents help sales engineers handle heavy RFQ workflows, extract and classify requirements, coordinate information across systems, and generate outputs into tools like SAP, Salesforce, PLM and ERP platforms.

The product is already being used in real industrial environments, where accuracy, trust and usability matter. A misread requirement can create serious commercial risk, so the frontend is core to how the product works.

Role

You’ll own the frontend surfaces where humans and AI agents work together, from chat and document review through to agent traces, approval flows and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture across React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Build human-in-the-loop agent interfaces, chat, trace views and approval flows
• Create document review UIs for RFQs, tables, BOMs, drawings and configurator outputs
• Ship full-stack features across components, routes and API contracts
• Build the design system, component primitives and frontend patterns
• Improve performance, reliability, loading states, error handling and Playwright coverage

Requirements

• Strong TypeScript, React and frontend architecture experience
• Good product taste and a sharp eye for interaction, usability and detail
• Experience with Next.js, TanStack, Vite, Playwright, Tailwind, shadcn/ui or similar
• Comfortable making tradeoffs around state, rendering, data fetching and component design
• Evidence of ownership, such as startup experience, open source, side projects or owning major user-facing surfaces
• Strong English, German not required
